The Tea Room (Salon de Thé)

Château de Percey has its own tea room (Salon de Thé). We serve outside on the terrace, or on the bridge or inside in the Grand Hall in case of poor weather, and offer tea and other refreshments as well as home-made cake. Our cakes are seasonal, using produce from the gardens such as appels, pears, prunes and walnuts. Most of our French costumers are delighted by our "carrot cake". 

English Afternoon Tea

We serve English Afternoon Tea, tea with milk, a variety of cakes and scones with cream and the famous English cucumber sandwiches.

Tea services

Our tea is served in antique porcelain tea sets, so some of our stuff can look a little old - it is, in some cases older than you are. You can choose your own "service à thé", like the green and gold "Queen Anne" set, the "Limoges" or a "Bavaria" set who belonged to my grandmother. The teapot of Scottish "Picquotware" will complement your afternoon at the château.

Nut allergies

As we use walnuts from our gardens, all produce from our kitchen could contain traces of nuts.

Opening hours

The salon de thé is only open by appointment for groups to enjoy an Afternoon Tea (from April to October). If you would like to make a reservation for afternoon tea please send us an email at info@chateaupercey.com.

Price

An afternoon tea costs 12,50 euros per person.
